As a Principal, John has been dedicated to providing the highest level of service to tenant clients in the state of Florida since 1997. He specializes in the representation of corporate space users in transactions involving office, industrial and manufacturing space. John works with clients to develop and execute optimum real estate strategies that are aligned with business objectives and financial goals. He has amassed considerable expertise in solving challenging real estate problems, particularly with respect to tactical planning, space utilization / efficiency, transaction management, financial analyses and negotiation.

Prior to being a founding member of JP Commercial RE Advisors, John served as a senior managing director at Newmark in Tampa for seven years. He formerly worked at Studley (Savills), where he had a leadership role in opening the firm’s Tampa office, covering the state of Florida through the Miami and Tampa offices. John has also worked in the securities and corporate and municipal finance business, giving him a strong understanding of financial structuring.

John Doran has been a resident of Florida since 1986, relocating from the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania tri-state area to pursue his BS in Electrical Engineering at USF in Tampa and then graduating from UCF in Orlando.

John Doran began his commercial real estate career in 2000, establishing his own corporate real estate firm, RE Commercial. For over the last two decades, John has focused all his efforts on positioning his clients for success in their business endeavors by providing well executed value-added services within their commercial real estate transactions. His experience ranges from representation in mixed-use developments and investment acquisition/stabilization/dispositions of multi-tenant buildings within the Orlando CBD and Jacksonville CDB markets. In addition, he specializes in user build-to-suits, site selections and tenant representation for local, state, regional and national clients within the Office, Industrial and Retail industries. Since joining JP Commercial RE Advisors, his primary focus is working with corporate executives in planning and executing real estate goals to best position their businesses for success with his skills, knowledge, tenacity and determination.

As a Principal, Joe brings over two decades of expertise to the JP Commercial RE Advisors team. Joe is dedicated to providing conflict-free client representation, emphasizing unbiased and transparent advisory services in today’s intricate commercial landscape.

Prior to being a co-founding member of JP Commercial RE Advisors, he founded Capstone Realty Advisors, where he successfully positioned it as a prominent tenant representation firm in the U.S., later overseeing its acquisition. Joe’s extensive portfolio includes transactions totaling over ten million square feet, serving both tenants and landlords.

Susana joined JP Commercial RE Advisors in July 2024 as marketing director, where she focuses on providing client support, design/layout of marketing assignments, client presentations and day-to-day business functions.

She began her career in the commercial real estate industry over 25 years ago with Lincoln Property Company. Prior to joining JP Commercial RE Advisors, Susana served as Client Services Specialist for nine years at Newmark. She has previously held various client services and marketing positions with Studley (now Savills) in Tampa and Miami, DTZ and Carter & Associates.
